A nut-and-bolt restoration of a very rust-free and original sheet metal car, finished in the correct Lemon Twist Yellow with the rare vinyl-top option. It was factory-built with the underrated 280-hp, 440 cu. in. monster under the hood, coupled to the original 727 automatic transmission and finalized by the heavy-duty 8 -inch Sure-Grip limited-slip rear-end. The special handling package included the factory sway bars for improved cornering, and other factory-original features include power steering and power front disc brakes. The factory black interior features bucket seats and a floor console with factory floor shifter. Correct Rallye wheels with trim rings and center caps complete the package. The car comes with over 180 photos documenting the restoration plus the factory Broadcast Sheet, and it has travelled zero miles since completion. This example is number 2 of 21 in VIN sequence of all 1973-model 440, 4-barrel Road Runner/GTX 2-door coupes accounted for at the St. Louis, Missouri assembly plant. With only 749 of these cars built, it is highly collectible and marks the end of Chrysler's fabled 'Supercar' years.
