The Bonneville was produced by Pontiac from 1957 2005 and was of the longest and heaviest cars they ever built. The Bonneville was distinguished from the lesser expensive models with a more luxurious interior using upgrade materials throughout. The 3rd generation was introduced in 1961 and ran through 1964. In 1963 Pontiac produced 23,459 convertibles. This particular example was finished with Kimberly Blue Paint, a two-tone blue interior and an Ivory top. It was repainted 7 or 8 years ago and has a couple of minor flaws but overall still looks great. It retains its original 389ci V8, Hydra-Matic 315 transmission and P/O 9.3 rear end. The engine was professionally rebuilt less than 1,000 miles ago and runs incredibly. At the same time the original Carter AFB 4 bbl carb, the transmission and rear end were all gone through as well. Other factory options on this beauty include EZI WS glass, center console, back-up lights, front seat belts, power brakes, a push-button radio, bucket seats, power steering, a rear speaker, dual exhaust and the 8 lug wheels. The stereo was upgrade with a Custom Autosound head unit and new speakers. It also has an alarm system. Everything works as it should and the only thing you may want to consider is replacing the rear window as it is quite faded. Based on its present condition we would rank this as a solid #3 car and would appraise it at the midpoint between the low and average N.A.D.A value which is currently $36,020. We know it is a buyers market and have priced this gem for a quick sale so if you like what you see dont wait until it is too late to call us!
