Youll find a professionally rebuilt 396 cid V-8 engine under the hood with a Muncie 4-speed manual transmission, power front disc brakes, a 10-bolt rear end and so much more. This highly desirable classic muscle car is in fantastic condition as well and its been driven a mere 5,000 miles since the drivetrain was overhauled.
Pristine Body Lines from a Very High End Restoration
The current owner informs us that this 1966 Chevrolet El Camino took possession back in 2015 shortly after this beautiful classic was painstakingly restored by the 3rd owner. During the restoration effort, the exterior body has been smoothed to perfection and painted with factory-correct Marina blue and polished to a mirror finish. The chrome work, trim and glass were all refreshed at this time as well and still shows excellent in person.
Likewise, the interior shows at a very high level with only the slightest levels of wear. Most would consider this example well above the typical driver-level since a large portion of the unblemished factory accessories are still in place. This is a very complete example throughout and needs nothing to be enjoyed right away.
Additionally, this 1966 Chevrolet El Camino Custom is a sensational performer on the open road with a nice stance and exceptional muscle. Its 360 horsepower engine has an unbelievable sound from the pipes and gets down the road in a hurry, with nice handling and solid braking power. Youd be hard-pressed to find a more correct example with this level of refinement.
