This particular example was completed at the Metuchen, New Jersey works on March 17, 1966 and was originally dispatched to Cincinnati, Ohio. It is believed that this Mustang remained in Ohio until the mid-2000s. Title records show that it had 53,700 miles on its odometer in 2005. Today, just over 55,000 miles are present; a number which is strongly believed to reflect the actual number of miles accrued since 1966. The date code correct 289ci V8 engine is still intact in the highly detailed engine compartment and the original buck tag from the Metuchen assembly plant still attached to the inner fender.
