Reportedly, this car has never been raced. Its previous owner, a 75yearold, must have preferred cruising in it. He noted that no donor car parts were used during this cars construction and while it is a replica 66 Cobra, it is titled as a 2003 Special Construction model, with a Colorado state assigned VIN #.
Finished in an eyepopping Canary Yellow with dual black racing stripes, the cars paint and trim are in overall excellent condition. The windshield is clear and intact, the lights are in very good condition and the bodywork is straight and solid. The cars engine bay is extremely tidy, the battery appears new and the front bumperettes look great, with a drivers side roll bar only.
Under the forwardhinged hood is a fullychromed big block 454 CID bigblock Chevy V8 with 10:1 compression and it is understood to make 485 horsepower It has GM highperformance heads yet runs on pump gas and it breathes via dual side exit fourintoone exhaust pipes. Backing the big 454 is a Tremec sixspeed manual transmission with an 8.8inch rear end and 4.10 gearing. Driver convenience features include fourwheeldisc brakes. This Cobra has QA1 coils overs and a fullyadjustable rear suspension.
This car rolls on fivespoke Cobra alloy wheels, surrounded by Kumho Ecsta radials, size 235/40ZR17 in front and 245/45ZR17 in back. The tires are in excellent order while the wheels are in overall very good condition.
Inside, the brown leather bucket seats with racing harnesses are in very good shape, while the matching brown carpet is present with AMP, Fuel Gauge and speedo/Odometer inoperable. Theres a threespoke aftermarket steering wheel with a tilt column from Flaming River. The instrument panel, with Stewart Warner gauges plus an Auto Meter speedometer, is in excellent order while the inner door liners look good. Topping the gear shift lever is a cue ball. Theres even a scale model of the car included.
This car is currently located at our facility in St. Louis, Missouri. Current mileage on the odometer shows xx,xxx miles. It is sold as is, where is, on a clean and clear, mileage exempt title. GET OUT AND DRIVE
