This rare and distinctive early Duesenberg is believed to be the only surviving example featuring this fascinating four-door coachwork by Millspaugh & Irish officially known as a Four-Passenger Coupe. It was sold new in Minnesota and incredibly remained with the original owners family until 1980. It was subsequently sold to a collector in California who spared no expense on a ground-up nut-and-bolt restoration completed in time for the 1996 Pebble Beach Concours dElegance where it achieved coveted Best in Class honors. Since then it has been meticulously maintained and presents in beautiful condition in a handsome and understated livery of blue with black wings black wire wheels and excellent nickel plating. A rare opportunity to acquire a striking example of Americas first straight-eight powered car from the genesis of the Duesenberg Brothers legend.
