This 1998 Chevrolet Camaro SS for sale is the first year of the ever so popular LS1 for the Camaro. The Corvette first received the engine in 1997 when the C5 debuted. In 1998 came the updated version of the F body Camaro along with the all aluminum LS1. This exciting example has been tweaked a bit thanks to a full exhaust system, a strut tower brace, sub-frame connectors and a new set of rear gears. The power is sent through a 6-speed manual transmission back to a set of drag radials ready to hook up and go. Originally this car was sold new in Burbank, California before making its way to St. Louis and comes with a lot of original purchase paperwork including the window sticker and build sheet. Inside the car is mostly stock and in very nice condition. Outside there are some tasteful touches; black hockey stick accent strips adorn the front fenders, black-out tail panel, old school SS emblems and a set of polished aluminum wheels to finish the menacing look.
