The GT2 RS featured a 3.6L Twin Turbo 620HP power-plant, a 6-speed manual transmission, and rear-wheel-drive. The RS model emphasized lightweight components throughout, including a carbon fiber trunk lid and rear wing, lighter door panels, battery, and flywheel. Weight savings for the GT2 RS were 155 pounds over the previous GT2 model, culminating in an acceleration time from 0-60mph of 3.5 seconds, while reaching a top speed of 205 mph.
