*1941 Ford Pickup Truck*By 1940 the Ford Pickup was already one of the most popular cars on sale in the United States and the redesign for 1941 made it even more desirable. The wider body looked more modern the headlights were pushed out further on the fenders and the three piece grill design quickly became iconic. In light of the amount of Fords sold in the early 1940s they quickly became prime vehicles for hot rodding and after World War II people began customizing them extensively. This 1941 Ford Pickup is a perfect example of a well customized Ford Pickup painted in a sinister primer black with flames on the hood and an all-white interior. This is a true ground-up build that began with a Pete & Jakes Custom Viper 35-40 chassis with Viper rear coil-over suspension for a more modern feeling drive. The suspension was also upgraded with Moon Shocks SoCal bump steer stabilizer and Royal King Pins. The brakes were then upgraded with discs up front and a power booster under the hood and the car rolls on Milner Specials wheels- 14 in front and 15 in the rear with a set of Coker Wide Whitewall tires. On the inside the truck has been upholstered by Ricks Custom Upholstery with bespoke door panels headliner and pillars as well as a special Glide Ford bench seat. The gauges have been upgraded with Moon components a 12v electric heater was installed under the dashboard and the shifter and accelerator were both produced by well-known hot rod part builder Lokar. What is under the hood of this Ford Pickup is what really separates this truck- starting with a Chevrolet 350ci V8 this truck has been stroked to 383ci and given a tasteful polished aluminum valve covers. The intake is a unique Vintage Wieand manifold with four staggered two barrel carburetors built by Vintage Carburetion and a custom throttle linkage. This motor breathes through Sanderson Headers with dual exit exhaust and a set of Dougs electric exhaust cutouts. An upgraded Walker radiator was installed with a trans cooler and the electrics have been updated with a Painless wire kit and fuse panel. Backing up the engine is a Pro built TH-350 transmission with a 2500 stall torque converter that sends power back to a Ford 9-inch rear end with 4:11 gears. This mean looking Ford Pickup would be the king of any hot rod show and with its host of mechanical upgrades*Additional Information* * Optima Dry Cell Battery * Hotronics Electric Cut Off Switch * Courtesy Lights * Deluxe Grille w/Side Grilles * Ford Parking Light to Turn Signal Conversion*Standard Features* * 221ci Straight-8 * 60 Horsepower * Downdraft Carburetor * Oil Bath Air Cleaner * Semi-Elliptical Rear Leaf Springs * Live Rear Axle * 4-Wheel Hydraulic Drum Brakes * Sealed Beam Headlights * Steel Wheels * Independent Front SuspensionFor more information on this 1941 Ford Pickup Truck Hot Rod 3 or any of our 100+ High-Performance Exotic and Special Interest cars always in stock contact one of our friendly and knowledgeable sales consultants or always feel free to drop by our 40 000+ sq ft of Indoor Showrooms in Bellevue WA - Home of an Exciting Inventory of Luxury Exotic High Performance and Collectible Automobiles.
