New to our Pleasanton showroom is this gorgeous 1966 Lincoln Continental 4 Door Convertible with blue exterior paint and a matching blue interior.  It features a rare factory 462 cid V-8 engine under the hood with the numbers-matching automatic transmission, along with most of the original factory accessories and trim pieces as well.  This outstanding classic was with the original owner all the way up to 2016 and it is in sensational overall condition with 47,915 lifetime miles.

The current owner of this 1966 Lincoln Continental Convertible informs us that only 8.2% of the models produced over the 1961-1969 production run of this classic were convertibles with the big 462 V-8 motor.  He has invested over $12k in service over the past 12 months as well to bring this beauty up to an incredible standard.  It starts nicely and drives like a dream out on the open road with enough power/torque to take command yet enough luxury to really enjoy the ride.

Additionally, this 1966 Lincoln Continental 4 Door Convertible shows only slight signs of wear in the paint and the interior.  From what we can tell, this one has been driven lightly throughout its life and enjoyed as an occasional weekend driver.  Given its condition, we believe that it’s probably a true survivor and not just some fully restored barn find.  It’s beyond rare in the classic world and it would make a perfect addition to any serious collection.
