Presenting this elegant left-hand drive 1950 Jaguar MK V Drophead Coupe that is finished in a two-tone color scheme Black and Red gracefully combined with a grey interior. Equipped with an American running gear, manual transmission, Rochester 2 Jet carburetor, single exhaust outlet Smiths instruments, Lucas-branded ammeter gauge, floor-mounted shifter, Lucas-branded fog lights, fold-down convertible soft top, boot cover, chrome-plated headlamps, chrome trim/ bumpers, badge bar, interior wood trim, rear fender skirts, three-spoke steering wheel, whitewall tires, tool kit, Jaguar branded hub caps, and a full-size spare tire perfectly fitted in the rear compartment. Note this Jaguar MK V originally came with an inline-six engine from the factory, however, this example has been converted and upgraded with an American V8 engine. Amenities include forward-folding front seats, a rear bench seat with a fold-down armrest, manual-crank windows, vent windows, fender-mounted side mirrors, two glove compartments, and a dashboard ashtray. This very desirable example is one of 1,005 dropheads produced and was previously owned by a Jaguar Owners association member. In addition to the equipment, this 1950s classic comes with manufacturers literature and service receipt copies.
