The 412 was the final installment of Ferraris long-running line of four seat V12-powered grand tourers dating back to the 365 GT4 2+2 of 1972. The great Leonardo Fioravanti created the sophisticated and crisp form for Pininfarina which was discreetly freshened for the 412 with body colored bumpers a reworked boot lid and new lamps. Mechanical improvements over the 400i included a bump in displacement to 4.9-liters Bosch ABS brakes and numerous refinements to the luxurious interior. This 1987 412 is one of only 576 produced between 1985 and 1991. Finished in a fetching shade of Blu Scuro over natural tan leather it shows only 13600 miles from new and is in excellent condition throughout. The original service book shows it was imported and sold new by Giuseppe Risis Ferrari of Houston and has spent many years as part of a private collection. Equipment includes air conditioning automatic gearbox Blaupunkt audio system and original books and tool kit. This is an outstanding example of the rarely-seen uniquely elegant 412.
