The dream project for the collector or enthusiast!
The Alpine-Renault A110 was no stranger to racing in the 1960s and 70s, winning several rally championships throughout the world in 1973 due to its proven performance and handling. Its striking appearance was first penned by Giovanni Michelotti, who was also responsible for lines from Ferrari, Maserati, BMW and other great makes of the period. While initial production was exclusive to France, by 1965 the Mexican Diesel National company (DINA) was given a license and started producing their own A110 under the name of Dinalpin Renault. Utilizing genuine Renault parts, the Dinalpin A110 was a quality vehicle that provided the Mexican market with something uniquely European that was built by Mexican hands. While in production for 9 years it is estimated only 508 Dinalpin A110s were constructed by 1974, meaning that the Alpine A110 Dinalpin is a rare sight in the United States. When examples do come to market they are quickly procured by collectors and enthusiasts even in project form, where the Alpine A110 Dinalpin serves as the perfect canvas as a vintage race car.
The 1965 Alpine-Renault A110 Dinalpin Coupe featured here is finished in gorgeous French Blue with a beautiful black interior. This extremely rare Alpine Renault A110 Dinalpin is one of only approximately 508 built and would be a perfect candidate for a restoration project for future rallies or to drive as is today. We are proud to offer it to the astute collector, investor or enthusiasts who understands and appreciates the rarity of this great marque.
