Rare 1958 Austin Healey 100-6 BN6: Sought-After 2-Seater Model
This rare and desirable 1958 Austin-Healey 100-6 two seater is an excellent original car and strong driver just out of 25 year loving enthusiast ownership. A hard to find and sought after 2-Seater model. British racing green with tan interior and white soft-top. It runs and drives well. Overdrive works as well as all lights and signals. An overall presentable original car thats straight and solid overall but would benefit from minor cosmetics at this time.
Introduced in 1956, the 100/6 represented the most radical step forward in the Big Healeys development. Despite its initial success, sales of the original Austin-Healey 100 had begun to decline by the mid-1950s and so the model was revamped as the 100/6 with a 2.6-litre 6-cylinder replacing the original four-cylinder engine. The pushrod six produced 102bhp - 12bhp more than its predecessor. The 100/6 was distinguishable by its crinkle radiator grille and bonnet-top air intake. This particular 2-Seater 100/6 BN6 Roadster is not to be overlooked by any Austin-Healey collector or enthusiast.
