This 1961 Chevrolet Corvette is a gorgeous sports car configured with desirable performance-oriented options. When the Corvette debuted in 1953, it received a somewhat tepid response from the public. While folks seemed to appreciate the unique styling of the 2-seater sports car, the biggest complaint seemed to arise from its lack of performance.
