The Camaro is a mid-size pony car produced by Chevrolet. The 1st generation Camaro first arrived to dealerships in September of 66 as a 67 model on a brand new F body platform designed to compete with the popular Ford Mustang. Introduced in February 1970, the second-generation Camaro was produced through the 1981 model year, with cosmetic changes made in 1974 and 1978 model years. The car was heavily restyled and became somewhat larger and wider with the new styling. Still based on the F body platform, the new Camaro was similar to its predecessor with a unibody structure, a front subframe, an A-arm front suspension and leaf springs to control the solid rear axle. This particular example is equipped with a 400 ci V8 from a 79 GM truck. It was rebuilt and freshened up when it was installed in this car and not only does it run great it also sounds amazing ripping through its performance exhaust. It has a T350 tranny with 10 bolt posi that was just rebuilt with 3:73 gears. It was an a/c car but the a/c no longer works. It has Tuxedo Black Paint with Ivory stripes and a black vinyl interior. It has rally rims with staggered tires that really look awesome. All said and done this is a solid driver that you could be proud to take anywhere. We have priced it aggressively so if you like what you see you should reach out before its too late!
