Delivered new in white with a black leatherette interior, it currently wears red paint and has been fitted with a 1956 model-year 1600cc Speedster engine which was further enlarged to approximately 1750cc. The engine was also fitted with high compression pistons, new valves, valve guides, and a three-piece crankshaft for extra performance. The car has been with the same owner for the last 27 years. While under his care, he had a full cosmetic restoration of the bodywork performed by specialist Kim Schultz during the early 2000s. It also benefits from a new soft-top.
