The Chevy II / Nova is a small automobile manufactured by Chevrolet from 1962 through 1979 and again from 1985 through 1988. The Chevy II nameplate was dropped after 1968 with Nova becoming the nameplate from 1969 through 1979. This particular example was converted to a Street Rod that has a killer stance and a ton of horsepower. The heart of this beast is 383 Stroker fed by a brand new Quick Fuel Brawler 650cfm carb and an electronic ignition that sounds just plain nasty ripping through its performance headers and exhaust. Power is put to the 12 bolt posi rear end with 3:73 gears via a performance built T400 tranny controlled by a Hurst Pro-Matic 2 ratchet shifter. The rear end was upgraded with Caltrac traction bars and the front end was just gone through top to bottom at which time it received new tie rods, bearings, sleeves, seals as well as a new pitman arm and it was just aligned. Stopping is handled with front power disc brakes and rear drums, it has power steering and it looks sick sitting on its 18 Riddler 5 spoke black and polished rims with staggered low profile tires. It has a new trunk mounted battery with a battery disconnect right above the rear bumper. Inside you will appreciate the bucket racing seats, the GT Grant suede wrapped steering wheel, a custom roll bar, Auto Meter gauges (Monster tach, water temp, oil pressure & trans temp) as well as a brand new sound system which consists of an Alpine CDE-175BT stereo, an Alpine KTP-445A amp and Diamond Audio DMD series speakers front and rear that sound amazing.
