The 4th generation Corvettes were produced from 1983 until 1986. The 1991 Corvette got a facelift that gave the car a smoother, slimmer nose with wraparound parking/cornering/fog lights, wider body side moldings that were now body colored, horizontal front-fender vents that replaced the previous gill-like louvers and a back panel with squared-up taillights. Inside, a new power-delay feature allowed the audio system and power windows to operate after the ignition key was switched off until the driver's door was opened. In addition, a "low oil" indicator was added to the driver information center and all models were pre-wired to accommodate a cellular telephone or other 12-volt accessory. This particular example is unrestored and has just 28,891 original miles. When it was new it was sent to Lingenfelter who built the engine to a 383 and equipped it with an Accel Super Ram intake with TPI. It now boast 440HP with 430 foot pounds of torque. It was thoroughly serviced in March at which time the oil, oil filter, fuel filter, air filter were all replaced, the transmission was serviced, it also received a new Opti-Spark ignition, a new A/C Delco battery and new Nitto NT555 G2 tires. It has been upgraded with a gorgeous set of 3 piece 17 Fittipaldi racing rims, a custom Pioneer touch screen stereo with XM, Bluetooth and all new speakers and an Accel Super Ram intake TPI for some extra performance. Everything works perfectly and the only issue with the car is that the LTPWS (low tire pressure warning system) is on as the TPMS sensors need replaced.
